skin peel – 30 mins

Skin peels are designed to dissolve the lipid bonds that bind together the non living skin cells in the outer layer of the skin.  As our skin ages, the rate of renewal and turnover of skin cells reduces, resulting in an accumulation of dry, dull, pigmented cells on the surface of our skin.  The removal of these superficial layers encourages collagen synthesis and skin hydration, reduces pigmentation, and improves skin texture and clarity.  With various options in peel strength and acid type, a tailored approach can be achieved, limiting or extending exfoliation depth to provide the desired level of correction/improvement to target individual concerns.  Skin peels are suitable for most skin types with little to no downtime.  Mild peeling or flaking may be expected for up to a week post treatment.
